WebEx conferences
The Diocese of Spokane Communications Department can provide facilitation and training of WebEx meetings. e encourage our ministry leaders to make the most of available technology to save as much of our limited resources in time and fossil fuels as possible. WebEx can be used for meetings, work groups, presentations, and more.

Communications seminars
Learn tricks and tips for managing congregational and mission communications in the digital age through online webinars. These communication seminars are offered free of charge to diocesan missional and congregational leaders on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each seminar is offered twice per year, and is limited to 24 participants. Due to limitations on numbers of attendees, participants must be leaders or clergy within the Diocese of Spokane.
An introduction to the concepts and basic elements of the WordPress website platform, commonly used for church websites. This seminar will introduce the basics of posting, editing, and formatting content for WordPress websites.
Improve the communications program for your church or ministry. This introductory seminar covers the basic elements of communication, and covers the variety of channels available to reach out to your congregation and community.
This seminar covers advanced functions and uses of WordPress-based websites for churches and ministries. Topics covered include Plugins, HTML formatting, and embedding “rich content”. Participation in WordPress I is suggested prior to attending this seminar.
This seminar covers visual presentation in your communications program through photography (cameras, techniques, and visual storytelling), and advice for building contacts and networking for outreach.
This seminar covers advanced communication techniques for churches and ministries, including using videos to tell a story, collateral and branding, and putting previous knowledge together for a comprehensive storytelling program. Participation in Communication II is suggested prior to attending this seminar.
