[UPDATE: MAY 8]  There was hope last week that Archbishop Desmond Tutu would be able to join with us at St. John’s Cathedral during his visit to Spokane where he will speak at Gonzaga University’s graduation on May 12. However, word has been received that this will not be possible because of his full schedule. We rejoice that Bishop Tutu will be visiting our community and thank Gonzaga for making that possible. We also give thanks for his significant ministry of reconciliation that has touched many in our world.
