Tye Cruver, age 23, died in an automobile accident near Ritzville on Thanksgiving evening on his way home to join his family in Pullman. Tye was a chef at Western Washington University in Bellingham. An avid outdoorsman, he joined his father, Pat, and his brothers Micah and Emmett, in their ongoing love for Camp Cross, and was a former camper and staff member.

He is survived by his father and brothers, his mother Jacqueline, and his father’s companion, Christine Stone. Friends and family will gather for a funeral mass at St. James Episcopal Church, 1410 NE Stadium Way, in Pullman, on Saturday, December 1, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Tye be made to Camp Cross, 245 East 13th Avenue, Spokane, 99202-1114.
