Clergy Days Scheduled (March 2, 4, 9, 11)
Bishop Waggoner will meet with clergy in four regional gatherings in March.  He will meet with the Clearwater Deanery March 2 at church of the Nativity in Lewiston.  Wenatchee Deanery clergy will gather March 4 at St. Martin’s, Moses Lake.  Clergy from the Spokane-Colville and Kootenai deaneries will meet March 9 at St. John’s Cathedral in Spokane. The Snake River and Yakima deaneries will meet March 11 at Holy Trinity, Sunnyside.  All meetings are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  For additional information visit www.spokanediocese.org.

Lenten Quiet Day  (March 27)
A Lenten quiet day is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Saturday, March 27, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Spokane.  The Rev.  Nolan Redman will present meditations for quiet reflection and preside at the Eucharist.  The quiet allows time for prayer, meditation, journaling, reading, and/or  walking.  Bring your books, journals, and a bag lunch for a refreshing time.  St. Stephen’s is located at South Perry Street and  57th Avenue. Celtic Celebration  (March 4)
St. David’s Episcopal Church, 7315 N. Wall in Spokane invites all to their next celebration of a Celtic Christian Communion service on Thursday, March 4 at 7 p.m. This service will be a celebration of our patron saint, David, and will include a reception after the service. Sung chants, Celtic music, and a welcoming community are all components of the worship. Preaching Workshop – Save the Date  (June 18-20, 25-27)
The Commission on Ministry is planning a two-weekend preaching workshop  June 18-20 and 25-27 at St. John’s Cathedral in Spokane.  The session is open to anyone interested in honing their preaching skills but particularly for those seeking to be licensed to preach and those in the ordination process.  Stay tuned for more details.

Silent Retreat  (April 9-11)
A silent retreat is scheduled April 9-11 at the Immaculate Heart Retreat Center in
Spokane. Sr. Leslie from the Episcopal Community of the Holy Spirit in New York will be the  leader. The retreat starts Friday evening and ends after lunch on Sunday. Cost is $170, with an optional Friday night dinner for $10. For more information, contact Carolyn Terry at 509.448.3037.
