Three years have passed and it is again time for Episcopal Youth Event (EYE)! EYE is a gathering for more than 1500 youth, adult sponsors, bishops, staff and resource people from around the Episcopal Church, the US and beyond, from July 8th to 13th in San Antonio, Texas. The theme this year is Sown in the Heart of Christ, a great compliment to the theme from convention Becoming Bread for the Word (at least with the farming imagery). It’s an immersion experience in the baptismal covenant meant to inspire and empower the youth of the Episcopal Church as apostles. All that, and it is incredibly fun.
