Camp Cross is a Labor of Love
April 18th, 2011 | Posted by in News
Camp Cross has been part of the tradition of the Spokane Diocese since the early 1920s. Each year, the tradition of Camp Cross is renewed and celebrated at a very special camp session called Labor of Love. Volunteers from all ages, walks of life, and abilities join together to prepare Camp Cross for another season of memories made, friendships discovered, and meaningful spiritual experiences. This year, Labor of Love is May 20-22. Enjoy the rustic, natural beauty of Camp Cross on the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene while moving boats, setting up the waterfront area, preparing firewood, cleaning, and other tasks. There is no cost for this weekend camp, and lodging and meals are provided. Donations are gladly accepted. If you would like to register for Labor of Love, visit the Labor of Love page on Camp Cross.
