Communications ministries in the Diocese of Spokane span a width breadth of areas from electronic to print. The Diocese is currently in the process of evaluating all of its Communication tools and developing a strategic plan to help keep members of the diocese, clergy, and congregations better informed. About the Inland Episcopalian
From Bishop Waggoner
Some of you have heard that publication of the Inland Episcopalian has been suspended. There is truth to that, but there is more to it than simply a suspension. Specifically, what has been suspended is the regular schedule of publishing the Inland until a review and evaluation of all our communications instruments has been conducted. This is being done in the spirit of good stewardship, to further develop our communication potential as economically as possible using the tools available and recognizing the unique needs and preferences in our Diocese. The early stages of this essential work are already underway.
The next issue of the Inland will be published in February, and by then additional information about future communication in the Diocese will be available. In the meantime, Episcopal Life will continue to come to you.
