Committee consists of eight members who serve as Council of Advice to the Bishop and the custodian of the canons. Duties include acting upon applications for ordination, reviewing the purchase, sale, leasing or mortgaging of any church real property, voting on the confirmation of election of bishops in the Episcopal Church, and serving as the Ecclesiastical Authority for the Diocese in the absence of a bishop.
