Gifts by will (bequest or devises) often offer the best method of making a significant financial contribution to the Diocese. If you would like to make such a gift, the following examples of wording may be helpful:
“I give, devise, and bequeath to the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane Foundation the sum of $______________ (”or ______% of my estate” or “the residue of my estate”) to benefit _____________________ (the Diocese, a specific program or mission, or your Church). (You may add any specifications or details to care to regarding memorial funds, fund uses, etc., if any).
