2009 UTO grant applications and instructions are available at www.episcopalchurch.org/UTO. The process has been simplified, but each diocese may submit only ONE (1) grant application this year. Completed applications need to be received in the Bishop’s office no later than December 1 for review in time to meet UTO’s deadline of January 31, 2009; submission of the UTO grant application to New York can only be made from the Bishop’s office, and needs to have  his endorsement. UTO grants do not fund deferred maintenance, complete cost of vehicles, or capital improvements unrelated to compelling human need.
