St. John’s Cathedral will host a webcast of the Trinity Institute conference, “Radical Abundance – A Theology of Sustainability.” The conference dates are Jan. 21-23 and all interested persons are invited to participate. Speakers include Majora Carter, founder of an anti-poverty program in the Bronx designed to improve the environment and reduce public health costs; Timothy Gorringe, a professor of theological studies at the University of Exeter; David Korten, author of “When Corporations Rule the World” and Nestor Miguez, a professor of New Testament studies at Instituto Universitario ISEDT in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
