The diocesan Anti-Racism Task Force announces that the next full 15-hour anti-racism training event is scheduled to be given at Camp Cross, September 11-13. The family-friendly program will begin with supper on Friday September 11, but an early ferry is planned for those who can arrive in the afternoon. Family or private time will be interspersed with the required training hours, which will end at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Supervision for children will be provided during the training sessions.
As always, there is no charge for anti-racism training. Cabin accommodations for the two days with full board will cost $90 per adult, $50 per child through age 12. Scholarship assistance is available. For information, contact Darcy James, djames@camasnet.com, (telephone number below).
Early registration is advised, as this may be the last training of 2009 and space is limited. Registration forms are available at the diocesan office, on the diocesan web site, or by calling Darcy James (208) 983-9334.
