Belize Mission Trip 2010

[ Jan 15, 2010 to Jan 24, 2010. ] Medical and constructions teams will work in Belize Jan. 15-24, 2010, as  part of the 12th mission trip.  Work will take place in Dangriga, about 100 miles south of Belize City.

Episcopal Church grants awarded to Jubilee Centers in Prosser and Coeur d’ Alene

The Jubilee Ministry of Prosser and St. Luke’s Jubilee Center, Coeur d’Alene, are the recipients of the 2008 Volunteer Encouragement Grants in the amount of $500 each. Anonymous donor launches diocesan poverty fund

At the 2008 convention banquet, Bishop Waggoner announced the gift of $2500 from an anonymous donor to the Social Justice and Outreach Ministries Commission to inaugurate the Poverty in Diocese of Spokane fund. Four congregations awarded MDG grants; another round available

Four congregations each received the maximum $400 matching grant from the 2008 diocesan budget’s MDG allocation to further their Millennium Development Goal projects. MDG Matching Grant Application packet available

Additional matching grant funds are available for local congregations from the MDG allocation in the 2008 diocesan budget. Congregations may apply for up to $400 to match their own investment in MDG-related projects. You can review the packet for more information or contact Char Mills, co-chair of the MDG subcommittee.

Lewiston congregation makes every meal count – at least twice

Small but mighty community and congregation feed hundreds
